“Il Design Diventa Energia” is the installation by COIMA Image for the Milan Design Week.

On the occasion of Milan Design Week, the COIMA Image installation “Design Becomes Energy,” in collaboration with Dynamo Energies and SUNSPEKER, and with the support of Portanuova, is an example of integrated design with new energy sources, aimed at raising awareness about the concept of energy self-production.
The installation is inspired by Pink Floyd’s album “The Dark Side of the Moon,” which is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary this year. Just like the iconic cover where light radiates into a prism and breaks down into its colors, in the Pyramid, made with photovoltaic panels, sunlight transforms into energy, and that energy is converted into music and lights.
