Deutsche Bank Headquarter

The redevelopment of Deutsche Bank’s headquarters and general management offices in Milan focused on one of the three structural units within the original complex, designed by Studio Valle Architetti Associati. The objective was to reorganize the internal layout to better support a dynamic, hybrid working model.

The redesign prioritized collaboration and employee well-being, with careful attention to natural light, acoustic comfort, and sustainability. Construction was strategically phased to avoid disruption to daily operations, ensuring a seamless transition for employees. Over the course of three years, the project was guided by continuous dialogue with the client, aligning each phase with their evolving needs and expectations.

A strong emphasis was placed on minimizing environmental impact. Sustainable materials were selected, and existing features—such as suspended ceilings and raised floors—were preserved and integrated, reflecting principles of the circular economy. This approach allowed the building’s historical identity to be retained while adapting it to contemporary functional and technological demands.

The interior design features a neutral palette that amplifies natural light in open areas, contrasted by the more vibrant tones—shades of green and blue—used in enclosed support spaces.

The project also included the installation of a photovoltaic system on the roof, enhancing the energy efficiency and sustainability of the entire complex.
